1 Key Information at a Glance

web.seitig is a brand of Snow Dream Studios GmbH in Zurich. We build websites on a subscription basis and operate a platform with an app through which businesses manage calls, inquiries, appointments, reviews, quotes, and invoices.

We process personal data in two distinct roles:

  • As Data Controller for visitors to webseitig.ch, for prospective clients, for our customers, and for their team members in the app. This Privacy Policy applies to this processing.
  • As Data Processor for the end customers of our clients, i.e., individuals who call a business, write to it, book an appointment, or receive an invoice from it. The respective business is the controller for this data. Section 5 describes our processing activities in this role.

We do not sell personal data and do not use customer or end-customer data to train general AI models.

3 Scope and Markets

We offer web.seitig in Switzerland, the EU, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. This policy is aligned with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / DSG). Where applicable, it also complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, US state privacy laws, and the Canadian PIPEDA.

4 Our Own Data Processing

4.1 Visiting webseitig.ch

When accessing our website, the server automatically processes technical data: IP address, date and time, visited pages, browser and operating system, and the referring website. We use this data to ensure secure operations and for troubleshooting. We use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with Section 6.

4.2 Contact, Initial Consultation, and Chat

When you write to us, call us, book an initial consultation, or use the chat on webseitig.ch, we process your name, company name, phone number, email address, industry, your message, and the conversation log. We use these details to answer your inquiry, conduct the initial consultation, and prepare an offer. The chat on webseitig.ch uses an AI assistant that clearly identifies itself as such.

4.3 Business Contacts and Outreach

We introduce web.seitig to businesses by telephone or email. For this purpose, we use business contact details from publicly accessible sources such as Google Business Profiles, commercial registries, and industry directories, as well as specialized B2B data providers. We process company name, contact person name, business phone number and email address, address, industry, and publicly visible information regarding website and Google profile.

If you no longer wish to be contacted, a brief note during the conversation or an email to [[email protected]] is sufficient. We will then add you to our internal suppression list. In the US, we only make manual calls and strictly observe applicable do-not-call registries and calling hour regulations. We never send promotional SMS messages without prior consent in any market.

4.4 Customer Account, Contract, and App

For contract execution and customer account administration, we process company details, billing address, contact person, phone number, email address, chosen plan, and add-ons; for EU and UK clients, VAT numbers; and website assets such as texts, photos, logos, services, pricing, and opening hours.

In the web.seitig app, we additionally process:

  • Accounts of your team members with name, email address, phone number, and role;
  • Login credentials and security access logs;
  • Device details and push notification tokens to deliver notifications;
  • Your settings (e.g., quiet hours, notifications, and AI preferences);
  • Technical crash reports and usage statistics to improve the app.

The app only requests permissions required for a specific feature: microphone for voice notes, camera and photos for project images, contacts strictly when importing your customer list, and notifications for alerts. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.

4.5 Payments

You pay by credit or debit card via our payment service provider Stripe. Full payment card data is processed solely by the payment provider. We only see card type, last four digits, expiration date, and payment status. Invoices and receipts are delivered via email and within the app.

4.6 Notifications via SMS and Email

We notify you via SMS, email, and the app about new inquiries, missed calls, customer reviews, appointments, payments, and important service updates. Notifications received via SMS are also delivered by email. Account-, security-, and payment-related notices cannot be unsubscribed as they are necessary for contract performance.

4.7 Support

When you contact our support via app, email, or voice message, we process the contents of your request and, where necessary to resolve the issue, the information in your account. Voice messages are transcribed to text. We access end-customer data during support strictly to the extent necessary to resolve your request.

5 End Customers Data of Our Clients (Data Processing on Behalf)

When you contact a business that uses web.seitig, that business is the controller responsible for your personal data. We process your data on its behalf and solely to perform the services ordered by that business. Please direct inquiries regarding your data to the respective business. We assist them in responding to requests.

Depending on the subscribed plan, we process:

  • Calls: Your phone number, timestamp, duration, and status of forwarded calls. Calls are not recorded, and there is no voicemail box.
  • SMS, Chat, and Email: Content and timestamp of messages exchanged between you and the business, including the automated SMS after a missed call.
  • Forms and Bookings: Your entries from contact and quote forms, uploaded photos, booked appointments, and reminders.
  • Customer List: Name, contact details, business notes, and consent/opt-out status for promotional messages.
  • Reviews: Public Google reviews and the business’s responses.
  • Quotes and Invoices: Information recorded by the business for invoicing and quoting.
